As The Pump Station & Nurtury®’s Director of Client Services, Donna successfully connects new parents with the support and resources needed most. A firm believer that every baby and family is unique, Donna’s customized approach is both respected and appreciated by clients throughout SoCal. Through her extensive research, she became extremely knowledgeable in baby’s developmental needs, effective sleep coaching methods and scheduling routines. Today, she works alongside each family to help them develop healthy sleep habits and assists families by implementing a sleep method that fits their own parenting style.

Daniella Brown, UPPAbaby Car Seat Advocate

Daniella Brown, UPPAbaby Car Seat Advocate, Instructor – CPST-I
As a parent of three young children, child safety is of utmost significance to Daniella Brown. Dedicated to educating people on the importance of child passenger and car seat safety, Brown has been a Car Passenger Safety Technician since 2008, and an Instructor since 2014, which has allowed her to cultivate her passion and serve as a resource and educator. Having worked in the juvenile products industry since 2007, specifically in the car seat field, Brown brings her seasoned experience of the manufacturing and development process to the UPPAbaby team. She currently serves on the board of the Manufacturers Alliance of Child Passenger Safety (MACPS).

Twiniversity Founder Natalie Diaz

Natalie Diaz, Twiniversity
Natalie founded Twiniversity, the world’s leading support network for multiple birth families, in 2009. She’s become the global influencer for this small niche community. Reaching over a million families a week through Twiniversity’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube channels, moms and dads of twins flock to Twiniversity to find resources, ask questions, explore new products, and find community and support from other twin parents. Eirene Heidelberger, GIT Mom
Eirene is a nationally-renowned parenting expert and founder of GIT Mom (Get It Together, Mom!). Through GIT Mom’s 7-step method, Eirene empowers mothers and mothers-to-be by teaching a “mom-first” parenting approach. She is the only parenting coach in the country who advocates parenting techniques that puts the mother’s needs center stage.

Chad Ekstrom

Chad Ekstrom, Kanga Care
Chad Ekstrom has been changing cloth diapers for over 11 years. Fathering 5 amazing kiddos has proven to make Chad a bit of an expert in the cloth diaper community. From soup to nuts, Chad has supported Julie (wife to Chad, founder and CEO of Kanga Care, and owner of multiple diaper patents) from the early days of cutting and tracing fabric while making diapers at home, to current day developing of Kanga Care’s international presence by partnering with distributors near and far.

Laura Brown, Babywearing LA Babywearing has been a passion of Laura’s for more than a decade. As a multi certified babywearing consultant, Laura has worked closely with some of the largest babywearing brands and retailers,
and teaches classes and private consults locally as MamaBird Los Angeles. She founded the local babywearing support group non profit, BabywearingLA, and is also a Doula, Lactation Educator, and Child Passenger Safety Technician.

Jennifer Beall Saxton, Founder & CEO Tot Squad
Jennifer Beall Saxton is the Founder and CEO of Tot Squad,a baby gear services company that offers nationwide car seat installation, baby gear cleaning and stroller repairs. Tot Squad has been compared to the Geek Squad with their service centers inside buybuy BABY locations around the country. Jen has been a CPST since 2009 and has been featured in publications like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Today.com, and is a regular contributor on baby gear topics for the hit CBS show The Doctors. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, filmmaker Kern Saxton, and newborn daughter Charlotte.

Trevor Mulligan, LA Dads Group
Trevor is a 40-something-year-old who quit his job back in 2010 to be at home when his first son was born. He previously worked in advertising, but he’s now an at-home dad of two boys ages 6 and 8. He spends his time loving the L.A. lifestyle with the beaches, swimming, surfing and outdoor adventures all year long. Corky Harvey

Corky Harvey, MS, RN, IBCLC
Corky Harvey is the co-founder of The Pump Station & Nurtury®, the first new parent resource center of its kind. She is a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in maternal/newborn nursing from the University of Maryland. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a certified Happiest Baby on the Block educator, and was a long-time Childbirth Educator. She was on the faculty of the UCLA Lactation Educator and Consultant programs for many years and still lectures at hospitals, conferences and parent venues. 

Dr Jill Campbell

Dr. Jill Campbell
Dr. Jill Campbell is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in early child development, parenting and women’s issues. As an intern at The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, Jill worked in their therapeutic nursery school with special-needs preschoolers. Dr. Campbell completed her post-doctoral training at Cedars Sinai Early Childhood Center in Los Angeles. Jill has worked in private practice and for a group pediatric practice in Encino. In addition, for several years Jill facilitated psychotherapy groups for New Directions Eating Disorders Center in Sherman Oaks. Currently Dr. Campbell is the staff psychologist and Mommy & Me Curriculum Director at The Pump Station & Nurtury®. She provides a variety of services to new mothers and their families including psychotherapy sessions, parenting consultations, support groups and classes.

Sharon Curtin-Bottomley, Lamaze International
Upon earning a nursing degree in 1985, Sharon has gone on to work in the medical profession for over 33 years. As an RN she has experience in a variety of specialties, but it was her time in labor and delivery that set her on her current path. After receiving certification as a Lamaze educator, she began teaching private childbirth classes and founded Confidence In Birth in 2012. She also became a board certified lactation consultant in 2014. Presently, along with providing private lessons, she works as a lactation consultant and a perinatal nurse educator at Kaiser Permanente, teaching classes on topics from pregnancy, labor and delivery, Lamaze, breast feeding and baby care. She continues to seek out techniques that can empower new families, including HypnoBirthing and infant massage.

Richard Pass

Richard Pass, RN, BS, Founder, Save a Little Life
Richard is committed to educating families who are expecting, already have infants, toddlers and need to know the necessary skills to save a life. His courses have a section on prevention – which is where parents will be spending most of their effort at home and elsewhere. Save A Little Life is committed to making sure all participants have a functional capacity to perform the necessary skills as well as how best to access and prepare for paramedic arrival.

Nina Spears
Nina — also known as The Baby Chick® — is a baby planner, doula, educator, newborn care specialist, a mother, and Co-Founder & CEO of Baby Chick, a pregnancy and motherhood resource for the modern mom. Over the past eight years she has had the pleasure of helping over 500 families during their pregnancies, at their births, and during their postpartum times at home with their newborns. Her training, certifications, and experience include: baby planning, birth doula care, postpartum doula care, massage therapy, childbirth education, infant massage instruction, prenatal fitness education, and more.
